Including the things we could not verify, and the ones we binned.
Every figure here carries a provenance tag. What we read in the ordinance or on the official site is PRIMARY; what the industry repeats is SECONDARY; what we could not check is published as unverified, not as an estimate. An honest gap beats a plausible figure.
A price with no volume and no date is not data
The principleMost removals content online publishes a figure without saying when it is from, what volume it describes, or where it came from. That cannot be checked, and therefore cannot be used to decide anything.
Here every figure carries its date and its provenance, and where two credible sources contradict each other we publish both and say they contradict each other. The disagreement is information, not a problem to hide.
The most useful case of all is when there is no figure. Eleven of the fifteen town halls on this coast do not publish a findable removals tariff. Rather than importing Madrid's and calling it indicative, we say we could not find it and link the town hall.
Figures the sources do not agree on
Open conflictsWe publish these as conflicts rather than picking the one we like. If someone gives you one of these numbers as though it were the only one, they have not looked at the others.

What we have not been able to verify yet
What is missingJavea, Moraira, Benissa, Calpe, Altea, Villajoyosa, El Campello, Santa Pola, Orihuela and Pilar de la Horadada do not publish a findable removals tariff on their portals, or publish it in documents we could not read. We are still looking.
We have it from a compilation of the ordinance text rather than from reading the municipal PDF directly. It is flagged as partial.
Unverified. We publish no figures for Portsmouth or Plymouth to Santander or Bilbao, nor for matriculating and homologating a car in Spain, until we can check them.
It appears consistently in forums as a cause of delivery delays on the UK corridor, but we have not checked it against current French regulations, so we do not treat it as established.
About the method
Frequently askedWhat do PRIMARY, SECONDARY and PARTIAL mean?
PRIMARY means we opened and read the official source: the ordinance, the provincial bulletin or the town hall site. SECONDARY means the industry or press repeats it and we did not reach the original. PARTIAL means we read the ordinance and confirmed it does not contain the figure, which is a different answer from not having looked.
Why say you do not know instead of estimating?
Because an invented municipal fee has real consequences: you turn up without a permit and find a fine and nowhere to park. A flagged gap sends you to the town hall; an estimate sends you to the wrong street with a false number.
How often is this reviewed?
Fiscal ordinances are approved per financial year, so the useful review is annual, in the first quarter. Market prices are reviewed more often. Every page carries a visible update date.
How does this guide make money?
By connecting people who are moving with firms on this coast. Which is exactly why verifiable data matters: if we published invented prices, the first person harmed would be the reader arriving at a firm expecting a figure that does not exist.
Can I tell you about an error?
Yes, and it is the fastest way to improve this. If you have an ordinance in front of you that says something different, or an updated fee, send it through the form and we will change it with its source.
