The street occupation permit is regulated by each town hall separately, and the differences are large: Alicante charges by street category, Dénia at EUR 0.75/m2/day, Torrevieja wants ten days' notice and grants no centre permits in July or August. You need a permit at both addresses, not one. Origin and destination are two separate occupations of the public way, on two streets, often in two different municipalities, with two fees and two notice periods. Almost no competitor page says this.

The table

Fifteen municipalities, one table. This is the part of the guide that exists nowhere else: most sites in this industry never mention the permit, and none publishes it municipality by municipality. Where we could read the ordinance, the figure is here; where we could not, we say so.

We could not verify a current fee in the published ordinance. Confirm it with the town hall before you book a date, and ask for the amount in writing.

What holds in all fifteen

The three rules
A permit at both ends

You need a permit at both addresses, not one. Origin and destination are two separate occupations of the public way, on two streets, often in two different municipalities, with two fees and two notice periods. Almost no competitor page says this.

A written quote

A written quote is obligatory before the move and must state explicitly whether municipal fees and permits are included. Once accepted it is proof that the contract exists and of what it contains.

Seven working days

You have seven working days from delivery to claim for damage that was not written on the completion document. After that no claim for loss or damage is admissible. It is the most useful and least published fact in this industry.

After the deadline no claim is admissible
Free, no obligation.
